Kim and Jamie’s list of what you need to survive a trade show
It is that time again, we are heading to the International Franchise Expo in NYC this weekend!!! We are so excited that we already started packing our bags. If you are anything like us, fun girls, you need to have the items listed below to successfully survive a trade show weekend! Of course, these items are what’s suggested in addition to the usual clothes and toiletries. These items may vary for men.
- Gum and mints – Fresh breath is a must!
- Our “A Game” – Check! We got that!
- Business Cards – And extras
- Advil – For our sore feet and of course, headaches!
- Energy Shots! – A couple favorites are 5-Hour and Monster!
- Walking shoes (Yes, flats are necessary. We save the stunning 4″ heels for the show floor)
- In Soles – The 4″ heels get to you after a while! lol
- Band-Aids – You can see where this is going, can’t you?
- Hand Sanitizer
- Lip Gloss
- Pepper Spray – Gotcha? We are kidding about the Pepper Spray!
- Cell Phone and charger
- Sense of humor!
- Witty Comebacks – For those punch drunk folks!
- Sunglasses – For the few minutes we actually get to spend outside!
- Hair Tie
- Eye drops – A MUST! We stay out way too late! ;-)
- Deodorant & Perfume – A girl has gotta smell good, doesn’t she?
- Energy Shots!! – We need them in the am and the pm!
- Did we mention Energy Shots? These are a HOT commodity at trade shows!
