Alfred Asano Heart Transplant Fund
Have you, a family member, or a friend ever had to face heart disease or been overwhelmed by the restrictive cost of a heart transplant?
Alfred Asano, franchisor of Shades, Shudders and Blinds, found himself with just that – a life threatening heart virus called Coxsacki Pericardium. The virus attacked his heart and he was given just one year to live. Although it has been a difficult journey, that was four years ago and Alfred is still fighting. In August 2008, he was referred to Dr. Andrew Smith and Dr. David Vega at the Emory Hospital Heart Failure Clinic who found Al to be the perfect candidate for a heart transplant. Other than his heart virus, Al is in perfect health.
So, in this Christmas and Holiday season, we’d like to ask for you support. Purchase the Heartfelt Recipes cookbook, and at the same time help Al get a new heart! It’s a fun collection of everyday recipes and makes a great gift. Alternatively, you can donate directly to the Alfred Asano Heart Transplant Fund. Al and his family appreciate your help.
