John Daly Found Drunk Outside Hooters Franchise

Golfer John Daly was taken into protective custody Sunday morning by Winston-Salem police after he was found drunk in the parking lot of a Hooters franchise restaurant. After reportedly drinking large quantities of alcohol in the restaurant, police said Daly “appeared extremely intoxicated and uncooperative”. He refused repeatedly to be brought to the hospital and was asked to leave the franchise restaurant multiple times. He apparently lost Hooters Girlconsciousness while in the Hooters parking lot, and had to be treated by emergency medical personnel.

The police took Daly to the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center for a 24 hour stay, presumably to recover and sober up, and not to give the police any tips on their long game.
